IntroductionDen 20e april 1635 zijn de naervolgende goederen van Hendrick Claesz. ende Jacobge Jacobs vercocht.
CommentaryThe owner of the goods sold in this sale is probably identical with the dyer Hendrick Claesz. Claes Hendricksz. (of R 7667 of Montias2) who bought most of the works of art in the sale, was the son of the dyer Hendrick Claesz. On the company of dyers formed by Hendrick Claesz. and his brother Willem Hendricksz., which operated from 1631 to 1633, see the NOTES to R 29847 of Montias2.
