CommentaryOn 24 April 1610, Jan Adamsz., from Leeuwarden, wheelwright, 23, living on the Breestraet, no living parents, assisted by his swager Baerten Rywers, was betrothed to Trijntje Jans Tubbegen, 25 (DTB 414/289). It is not clear whether Tubbegen refers to Trijntje Jans's family name or her place of origin (Tübingen). On 18 July 1624, the masters of the Orphan Chamber named Gerrit Jacobsz. Haringh (the bode of the Orphan Chamber) along with Egbert Garbrantsz., house carpenter, as guardians over the three children left by Jan Adamsz., wheelwright, and Tryn Jans (WK 5073/513).
