CommentaryThese goods were sold at auction at the request of Ype Ypensz. (Ibe Ibensz., IJpe IJpensz.), who was also a buyer at auction (R 22046). On 10 December 1621, Ype Ypesz., sieckentrooster (comforter of the sick), was named guardian of the innocent son of Aert Caessyn by the Orphan Chamber (WK 5073/513); on 30 June 1626, he was named guardian over the children of Hendrick Govertsz., caffawercker (ibid.) He may have been at least an occasional reseller of second-hand goods.
