BuyerAlbert Velcker
Pre Lot Headerden 16 ditto
Buyer FamilyVelcker (Velecker), Albert
Buyer NotesThe buyer was Albert Velcker or Velecer, 1582-1635, koopman op den Ooster O.Z. Achterburgwal, kerckmeester in 1618, Lieutenant of the militia in 1626 (Elias, Vroedschap, p. 159). On 19 January 1618, Albert Velecaer, from Hemden, 34 years old, assisted by Jan van Witten, was betrothed to Claergen Coenraets van de Burcht, 28, assisted by her mother Brechtje Pieters (DTB 422/142). Claergen Coenraets was the sister of Dr. Albert Coenraetsz. Burgh, member of the Raad of Amsterdam, alderman, ambassador, etc.. (Elias, Vroedschap, pp. 327-8). On 17 January 1619, Albert Velijker and Claertje Koenrats had their son Joost baptized in the O.K. in the presence of Herman Velecar and Brechje Pieters (the child's godmother) (DTB 5/271). On 7 January 1621, the couple had their daughter Hillegont baptized in the presence of Albertus Koenradij and IJbeltgen Hermes (DTB 5/340). Albertus Koenradij was of course Dr. Albert Coenraetsz. Burgh. Albert Velecker, living on the Ooster Achterburchwal, paid a tax of 350 f. in 1631 (Kohier, fol. 175vo, p. 40.)

BuyerAbraham Hendricksz. int Lazarus huys
Buyer FamilyHendricksz., Abraham (in the Lazarus huys)
Buyer NotesAccording to R 32502, Abraham Hendricksz. was binnenvader of the Lazarushuis or Leprozenhuis. It is not clear whether he is identical with Abraham Hendricksz., the dealer in second-hand goods (uijtdraager) of R 23657, who married his own niece in spite of the consistory's objection (Roodenburg, Onder censuur, p. 311.) Tentatively, they have been recorded separately. However, wherever there is no indication as to whether the buyer Abraham Hendricksz. was in the Lazarus huys or Uitdraager, it has been assumed that he was the latter. Either, if not a third individual, paid a tax of 10 f. in 1631, living on the Nieuwendijck (Kohier, fol. 41vo, p. 10).
