BuyerHendric Theunisz. steencoper op de Heeregracht over het Witte Springende Paert
Buyer FamilyTheunisz., Hendric(k)
Buyer NotesThe buyer was probably the brother of Symen Thonisz. The fact that he bought a portrait at the present sale (R 8394) adds to the presumption. He was a dealer in stone. On 28 May 1614, Hendrick Theunisz., widower, had the goods that he brought to marriage with Lysbeth Jans (the sister of Mary Jans?) inventoried. Among the works of art, a painting of Hendrick Theunisz.'s previous wife. Among the fewer goods brought by Lysbeth Jans to the marriage was a portrait of her sister (Mary Jans?). Oloff Theunisz., who may have been the brother of Symen and Hendrick Theunisz., owed Hendrick f 13:15:-- (NA 119, Not. Jan Frans Bruyningh, fol. 114 and passim)

Buyer NotesThe buyer may have been another brother of Symen Thonisz. For completeness, it should be mentioned that an individual by the name of Pieter Tonisz. was said to be a painter.
