Buyer NotesThe buyer was probably the son of the late Reynier Jelensz. He may possibly be identical with the individual, said to be a poorter of Amsterdam, who freighted a ship to Avero on 14 May 1601 and another to St. Uvis on 31 December 1609 (Winkelman, Bronnen voor de geschiedenis van de Nederlandse Oostzeehandel R.G.P., 184(1983), p. 31, and 185(1983), p. 89). He may also be identical with Gerrit Reyniersz. who invested in the drainage of polders in East Frisia in 1609 (NOTES to R 21444).
