BuyerJacob van Campen
Buyer FamilyCampen, Jacob van
Buyer NotesSeveral individuals by that name are known, but only one seems to have been an adult in 1598. (Note that Jacob van Campen Huygensz., married to Geerte Pieters Visscher, the grandfather of the architect Jacob Pietersz. van Campen, had died in 1593). On 10 September 1598, Jacob van Campen sold to Thomas Hendricksz., silk cloth dealer (possibly of R 30304) the house named de drie Fluwelen on the Warmoesstraat (Kam, Waar was dat huis in de Warmoesstraat?, 1968 36/11). In 1606, Jacob van Camp, living on the Zeedijck, bought lots in the Haarlem lottery for 1 f. 16 st. He mentioned his three children for whom he had invested in the lottery (GAA, 66/44 F 548).

BuyerLysbeth Jarichs
Buyer FamilyJarichs, Lysbeth
Buyer NotesThe buyer was probably an uitdraagster. On 3 October 1599, she had some goods auctioned off by the Orphan Chamber (Hilde van Wijngaarden, notes to Scriptie). On 13 January 1582, Harmen Tomasz., with his master Jan Fransz., was betrothed to Lysbeth Jarichs, widow of Gijsbert Pietersz. (DT 661/20). She was illiterate. She may have been the sister of Jan Jarichs who had some goods sold by the Orphan Chamber on 22 October 1609 (WK 5073/966, INVNO 1129).
