Buyer NotesOn 10 February 1590, Cornelis van Horick, from Mechelen, Spanish leather finisher (Spaanslederbereeder), 20, living on the O.Z. Achterburchwal, assisted by his father Cornelis van Horick and his mother Mayken van Horick, was betrothed to Anneken de Meyer, from Mechelen, assisted by her father Gillis de Meyer (I) (DTB 405/253). Mayken van Horick is likely to be identical with Maritgen van Horrick at whose request the goods in this inventory were sold. Anneken de Meyer was the presumed sister of Gillis de Meyer II of R 36055 and of Matheus de Meyer of R 27729.
