Introduction | Inventaris van de goederen roerende ende onroerende, actien en gerechticheiden in sulcken voegen Mettje Wonders, weduwe van za. Pieter van der Loo in sijn leven diamant snijder end juwelier [beseten ende met der doot ontruijmt heeft, beschreven] ter requisitie ende ten overstaen van d'eersame Hans van Immen sijdereder behoude oom, testamente vooght ende executeur [over] Jan van der Loo [naer] Oost Indien zynde, Maiken van der Loo, Pieter van der Loo, Christiaen van der Loo, ende Grietgen van der Loo, kinderen ende erffgenamen van de voorn. Mettje Wonders. Postscript: Verclarende ende affirmerende de gemelte Mayken van der Loo, Christiaen van der Loo ende Grietge van der Loo alle de goederen in den gemelten boedel ... geinventariseert te zijn ... in presentie van Jan van Erpekom, koopman, ende Willem Wernaerts inwoonder .. den 11 November 1641. |
Commentary | On 13 September 1619, Joost Palman, diamond cutter, and Pieter van der Loo, likewise diamond cutter, were said to own an obligation issued by Pieter Jacobsz. van Rijn (of R 27935) for 422 (Fl.) pounds dated 7 August 1619, another for 630 pounds issued by Anthony Moens and another for 342 pounds issued by Abraham de Marees de jonge (WK 5073/789). On 23 April 1637, Mettge Wonders, widow of Pieter van der Loo (I), of the present inventory, jeweler, named Abraham van der Voort (probably of R 32595 of Montias2), to collect money due to her (NA 597, fol. 181, Not. L. Lamberti). The widow owned a house on the West side of the Keisersgracht. Pieter van der Loo (II), his son, was named in the INTRO. |
