IntroductionInventaris ... van wijlen Jacob de Roo ende zijn za. huijsvrou Josyna van Borm, soo ende sulx die laest bijde gemelte Jacob de Roo, metter doodt ontruijmt ende in zijn sterffhuijs bevonden zijn. Gemaeckt opt versoeck van Sr. Joseph Serrurier, Joris de Vinder, Willem Cornelisz. de Lange ende Adriaen van Groenendijck als byde respective uytterste willen vanden voors. Jacob de Roo ende zijne overleden huijsvrou voor mij notaris gepasseert gestelde voogden over desselver vier nagelaten kinderen met namen Jan, Jozijna, Petronella ende Tamer de Roo ende derselver goederen .... Postscript: Aldus [geinventariseert ...in presentie van ] Guilliam Laurens ende Willem vander Poel ... getuijgen ... den xiii , xiiii ende xv aprilis xvi C sevenenvijftich.
CommentaryAmong the books: Emanuel de Meteren and Verclaring over de psalmen by Moleny [Pierre du Moulin ?]. Note that Joris de Vinder in Leyden and Adriaen van Groenendijck in Gouda were the business partners of Jacob de Roo. On 10 May 1636, Jacob de Roo, living in the Nes, was betrothed to Josina Borrens, living in Gouda (DTB 444/292). On 19 March 1645, Jacob de Roo and Josijna Borms had their daughter Thamar baptized in the presence of Gillis Jansz. Borms and Sara Becquu (DTB 8/46). On 26 March 1657, Jacob de Roo, coming from the N.Z. Voorburchwal, was buried. 10 f. 13 st. were paid on his behalf to the church (DTB 1047/16).
