Introduction	Compareerde voor my Niclaes Kruijs notaris ... de Eerbare Geertruijd Cloecken huijsvrou van den E. Mr. Willem Mulock advocaet ende secretaris tot Woerden mij notario bekent ende verclaerde de wijle sij comparante met de voors. Muloc getreden was in den H. echte staet ende voorbande van dien gemaeckt hadde zekere huwelijxe voorwaerden daer bij onder andere gestipuleert is dat de huijsraet dien sij comparante possideerde soude werden geinventariseert ende beschreven, so ist dat zij comparante willende 't selve presteren ende opdat bij leven ende sterven zoude mogen blijcken wat haer huijsraden ende meublen zijn geweest ende die zij ten huijse vande selve haer man sal hebben gebracht door mij notaris in presentie van de nagenoemde getuijgen t'haren huijse hadde gedaen beschrijven ... Postscript: Actum onder de hant van haer comparante in presentie van Johannis van Hel ende Jacob Basson als getuijgen ... den xxvii-en april 1650.
Commentary	Geertuijd Cloeck was born in Amsterdam and married Sijbrand Cornelisz. Groenhoven, who lived on the Fluweelenburgwal, on 10 April 1636. She then remarried with Willem Mulock on 15 February 1650, born in Zierikzee, attorney before the Court of Holland since 1625, widower, first, of Cornelia Gerritsdr. Rollema van Staveren and, secondly, of Francoise Kien from The Hague. On 4 November 1660 Geertruyd Cloeck married Andries van Wijck from Utrecht, procureur voor den Hove van Utrecht, burgomaster of Utrecht in 1648 and Heemraad van den Lekdijk Benedendams in 1651 (Johan Elias, Vroedschap van Amsterdam, vol.1, p. 397). Among the debts due to the estate for commissions (cortagie). Valerius Reuver f 21:12:--; Hendrick Momber f 4: 2:--; Daniel Mits f 31: 6: 8; Abraham de Bruijne f 1: 2:--; Anthonis Seneschael f 8:14: 8; Edmondt Schardinael f 8:14: 8; Jacob Verplancken f 5:12:--. Valerius Reuver was probably the well-known Delft collector; Hendrick Momber was the Haarlem painter Hendrick Mommer; Anthonis Seneschael was the brother of Artus Seneschael, former Consul in the Islands of Canary, who arrived in Holland shortly before 3 June 1661 and died soon after (DBK 5072/368, fol. 164); he was presumbly related to Guillam Seneschael of R 35885 of Montias2; Edmont Schardinael was the owner of the goods in INVNO 437; Jacob Verplancken is cited in the TEXT of R 347 of INVNO 446.
