Commentary | On 23 June 1618, Adam Sondagh, van Acken, caffawercker, widower of Maria Wachtels, living op den Amstel, was betrothed to Maritjen Cransser, widow of Klaes Chalbort (10 months) (DTB 422/310). Several of his children with Maria Wachtels were baptized before this date (including 1617). He must have remarried with Griet Jans after the death of Maritjen Cransser. It was presumably his son Jan Adamsz. Sondach, married to Gerritje Gerrits van Dijem who had his son Adam baptized on 20 October 1640 (42/221). Adam Sondagh owned, in addition to his inventory of movable goods, silk cloth and wool materials worth 3394 gulden | |
