Commentary	Henrick Persijn, from Rosendael, married to Maritgen Gerbrants from Haarlem, was a schoolmaster. He was the son of Machteld Michiels and Jacob Jansz. van Oudewater (Elias, Vroedschap, p. 15). Mr. Hendrick Perseijn was the uncle of Dr. Nicolaes Wassenaer of INVNO 260 of R 177 of Montias1. Hendrick Perseijn, domiciled in St. Joris, was buried on 15 August 1637 (DTB 1054/110).
