Introduction	Op den 5en april anno 1628 zijn vercocht de naervolgende goederen achtergelaten bij Reynier Reij wijncooper.
Commentary	Reynier Reij, from Gulickerlandt, wijnverlater, about 29 years old, was betrothed to Mary Jans, 21, daughter of Jan van Aken, on 7 October 1589 (DTB 405/199). After his death in late 1627 or early 1628, his heirs, living op den Vesten, paid a tax of 125 f. in 1631 (Kohier, fol. 259vo, p. 59). On Jan van Aken (or Acken), who was married to Grietge Ariaens, see INVNO 712 (R 613 of Montias1). Jan Raij (or Reij), who was a buyer at the present sale (R 20339 of Montias2), may have been his son.
