Introduction	Op den 20 martij anno 1619 zijn vercocht de naergelaten goederen van Giertje Pieters huysvrou van Gerrit Albertsz. Ruijl
Commentary	On 26 December 1609, Gerrit Albertsz. Ruijl, widower of Anne Jans, was betrothed to Geetruijt Pieters van Paenderen, widow of Hans Matthijsz. (DTB 414/215). On Hans Matthijsz. (Snoeck), see NOTES to R 32516 of Montias2. Gerrit Albertsz. Ruijl, was probably the brother of Cornelis Albertsz. Ruijl, whose daughter Anna Cornelisdr. married Niclaes van Campen, the architect of the Nieuwen Schouwburg, in Alkmaar on 22 April 1610 (Elias, Vroedschap, p. 402). Lambert Gerritsz. Ruijl, painter and later retail merchant in silk, was his son (for his death inventory, see INVNO 1175). On 17 January 1613, Lambert Gerritsz. Ruijl, painter, 25 years old, living in the Nieuwe Hoochstraet, assisted by his father Gerrit Albertsz. Ruijl, was betrothed to Teuntjen Kornelis de Goyer ( Oud Holland, 3(1885), p. 312). Teuntjen was probably the daughter of Cornelis de Goijer of INVNO 845. Lambert Gerritsz. remarried with Gerberich Heyndrix in 1625 (ibid.)
