Introduction	Op den 22en september 1626 zijn ten versoeck van de erffgenamen van Pieter IJsacksen vercocht dese naervolgende schilderijen, rondwerck, etc.. etc..
Commentary	On 20 November 1593, Pieter Isaacksz., 25 years old, living in the O.Z. Houttuynen, assisted by his father Isaac Pietersz., was betrothed to Susanna Crayborn Willems, from Antwerp, 24, assisted by her aunt (moeyken) Susanna Crayborn (DTB 406/441). Susanna Crayborn, the aunt of the bride, had only been betrothed a few months previously, with the attorney Lenard Swerius, widower of Anne Rombouts (DTB 406/388). At the time of her betrothal, she was said to be 44 years old and to be from Antwerp. On Lenaert Sweers or Swerius, see the NOTES to R 29288 of Montias2. The painter Pieter Isaacksz. was active in Amsterdam from 1590 to 1607. He lived the rest of his life in Denmark, where he died in 1625. The contents of his studio were apparently brought back from Denmark for the purpose of this auction. See also the NOTES to R 21175 of Montias2.
