Commentary	On 12 June 1615, Gerrit Jacobsz. Bruijn, from Hoorn, 27 years old, living on the N.Z. Achterburchwal, assisted by Dr. Anthony Bruijn, was betrothed to Clara Jans, from Gouda, 22, living on the Monkelbansburghwal, assisted by her sister Griet Jans (DTB 667/190). On 14 January 1627, Dr. Anthony Bruijn (of R 26743 of Montias2), the brother of Gerrit Jacobsz., was named guardian of the orphan child of the latter and of Clara Jans.
