Commentary	Anthony Wilbertsz. Boonhoff was a goldsmith, born in Zwolle about 1560. In 1606, Anthony Boonhoff, living in the St. Annadwarsstraet bought, bought lots for 1 f. 16 st. in the Haarlem lottery (GAA, 146/27 F 1054). He was buried in the N.Z.K. on 27 September 1613. He first married Aeltje Dircx in 1 September 1584. She was the daughter of Dirck Claesz. and the widow of Marten Henricx. Boonhoff then married Mary Sybrants, daughter of Sybrant Cornelisz. and Gerritje Gerrits. Maritje Sijbrants, the widow of Anthonie Boonhoff, remarried with Hans van Essen (de oude), merchant, on 11 October 1614. She was 45 years old in 1623. She died about 1635. Maritje's sister, Reymsgen, married the painter and art dealer Isaack van Conincksloo (of R 19464). Anthony's brother Jacob Boonhoff (of R 27411) was also born in Zwolle.
