CommentaryLysbeth Bouwers was married to Claes Burchmansz., the father of Burchman Claesz. (Dob) of INVNO 695, who married her niece Helena Bouwers (of R 27876). She was probably the sister of Arent Bouwer, married to Neel Hillebrands. She was the aunt of Hans Bouwer I of INVNO 537 and the grandaunt of Hans Bouwer II of R 28879 and of Melchior Bouwer of R 27856, both of Montias2. On Hendrick Claesz. Meebael, who was probably related to Lysbeth Bouwers, see R 30479 of Montias2. Apparently, her goods were sold separately from his after their respective deaths. On 20 August 1610, Mr. Melchior Bouwer and Hendrick Claesz. Meebael were appointed guardians by the masters of the Orphan Chamber over the goods left by Lysbeth Bouwers, widow of Claes Burchmansz. (WK 5073/513, fol. 127vo).
