Commentary	On the painter Pieter Isaacksz., at whose request the goods were sold, see R 21175. He was married to Susanna Crayborn. His four daughters were named Cathalyn, Helena, Margriet and Mary. He was active in Amsterdam from 1590 to 1607 and lived the rest of his life in Denmark where he died in 1625. N. de Roever suggested in his article on the Conincxloo's in Oud Holland (3(1885), p. 43) that at least some of the lots in this sale were part of the estate of Gillis van Conincxloo, the main sale of whose works had taken place on 19 January 1607.
