Commentary	On 10 January 1606, Gerrit Cornelis Coppesz. (?) was named guardian over the son of Jan Braems, wine merchant, and Anna Claesdr. (WK 5073/513, fol. 125). Pieter Brames (or Braems) who bought several lots at the sale may have been the son or brother of Jan Brames. He was a wine seller who delivered wine to the city and paid a tax of 25 f. in 1585 (Van Dillen, Amsterdam, p. 20). On Pieter Brames, see also R 31430 of Montias2.
