Commentary	Barbara Jacobs and Pieter Zegersz. were the parents of the painters Pieter and Claes Lastman who bought lots at this auction (Claes bought only household goods). Pieter Zegersz. had been named bode of the Orphan Chamber in 1572 but was removed after the Alteratie qua Roman Catholic. She became a sworn uitdraagster at least as early as 1591 and continued in the trade until her death.
