NotesProbably never existed. Gómez Moreno (1925) points out that Gino is an erroneous 12th cent. transcription of a 10th cent. inscription on the Church of San Adriano de Caldas whose words were read out of sequence, separating the word INDI GNO and causing the syllable GNO to be transcribed as Gino.
