| Notes | Following Ceán Bermúdez, many authors have listed only one artist with this name, whose dates of artistic activity include those of both Diego Copín de Holanda [the Elder], n.c.1460/1470-op.c.1518, and Diego Copín de Holanda [the Younger], n.a.1500?-op.1541. Gilman Proske (1951) was the first to suggest that documents after 1517 refer to his son Diego Copín de Holanda [the Younger]. Both artists are known as Copín, Diego Copín de Holanda, or Master Copín. | ||||||
