Postscript: Aldus geinventariseert ... door mij Jan Waernaertsz. notaris ... ten versoecke van de curateurs wettelycken geordoneert over de boedel van den voorn. Commentary	On 20 December 1602, Philis Colijns, from Antwerp, 25, living on the Kalverstraet, assisted by his mother Jacomyne de Boerels, was betrothed to Maria Felbiers, from Antwerp, 20, assisted by her father Hans Felbier (DTB 665/247). On 23 January 1613, Philips Jochemsz. Colijns, from Antwerp, widower of Maijke Felbiers, living on the Breestraet, was betrothed to Maijke Verpoorten, from Aken, 20, living on the N.Z. Achterburgwal, assisted by her father Jacques Verpoorten and her mother Grietge (DTB 667/58). On 10 November 1624, Willem Watson had notary Willem Cluyt insinuate Andries Andriesz. (probably of R 36982 of Montias2), Johan Vernadt, Jean van Lier, Marten Hoffman and Philips Colijn Jochumsz., all merchants in Amsterdam, who had insured a ship whose crew had mutineered (NA 368, fol. 578, Extracten). William Watson was a merchant who signed the February 1645 petition calling for the enforcement of currency regulations issued in 1622 (Van Dillen, Wisselbanken R.G.P. 59(1925), p. 90). Jochem Colijns was probably the son of Philips Colijn Jochumsz. Jochem was assigned by the commissaries of the DBK to supervise the faillit inventory of Daniel Roelandts in 1644 (INVNO 1249). On 5 March 1661, Gillis Marcelis, merchant, and the Church Council of the Flemish Mennonite Community came to an agreement regarding the brewery Het lam, on the West side of the Singel, which Marcelis had bought from Jochem Coleyns (Van Dillen, Bronnen tot de geschiedenis van het bedrijfsleven R.G.P. 144(1974), p.688).
