Ronald G Pisano was a collector, expert on Long Island art, curator of the Heckscher Museum of Art and director of the Parrish Art Museum. He and Mr. Baker formed the Baker-Pisano Collection of American Art with his life partner Fred Baker.
He and Mr. Baker began collecting 19th- and early-20th-century American painting in 1973.
They gave more than 40 works to the Heckscher Museum (New York Times, 12/31/2000).
