Quinn collected modern paintings, drawings, sculpture, manuscripts of contemporary authors, African, pre-Columbian and Asian art. As a patron Quinn promoted modern and avant-garde art in all forms and encouraged the work of members of the Irish Literary Revival, the artists of the Paris School, and English and American writers of his time.
