Eleanor Clay Ford was an art collector, patron, and philanthropist. Together with her husband, Edsel Ford (1893-1943) of the Ford Motor Company, she formed an art collection.
The Ford collection included work by, among others, Vincent Van Gogh, Paul Cezanne, Henri Matisse, Diego Rivera, Odilon Redon, Fra Angelico, and Frans Hals. Most of the art work from the collection was given to the Detroit Institute of Art.
