Andrew Carnegie was a collector, Scottish industrialist, businessman, a major philanthropist, and the founder of Pittsburgh's Carnegie Steel Company which later became U.S. Steel.
Mary Cassatt, Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent and the French Impressionists.
Carnegie married Louise Whitfield (1857-1946) in 1887, and had one daughter, Margaret Carnegie Miller, who was born in 1897.
