Louise Reinhardt Smith was an art Collector, patron and Museum of Modern Art trustee, 1965 and a trustee for life, 1993-. She was married to Wall Street investment banker Bertram Smith (d. 1959).
Among others, Smith’s collection included work by Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, Georges Braque, Henri Matisse, Edgar Degas, Kandinsky, Seurat, Odilon Redon, Auguste Rodin, André Derain, and Alberto Giacometti.
