The collection features reductivist works by European and U.S. artists, and includes works by Josef Albers, Lucio Fontana, Gottfried Honegger, Imi Knoebel, Sol LeWitt, John McCracken, Robert Mangold, Olivier Mossett, Jean-Pierre Raynaud, Ed Ruscha and others.

The Brownstone's donated 52 artworks to the Norton Museum in West Palm Beach, FL, ca. 2002.

Brownstone opened Brownstone et Cie, a gallery in Paris, in 1985.
