Robert Meyerhoff was an art collector and head of construction business & operator of a horse breeding farm in Phoenix, MD.
The post-World War II Meyerhoff art collection includes work by, among others, Josef Albers, William Baziotes, Mel Bochner, Anthony Caro, Joseph Cornell, Burgoyne Diller, Jean Dubuffet, Eric Fischl, Grace Hartigan, Howard Hodgkin, Hans Hofmann, Jasper Johns, Barnett Newman, Agnes Martin, Roy Lichtenstein, Claes Oldenburg, Ad Reinhardt, David Salle, Joel Shapiro, Frank Stella, Clyfford Still, Bradley Walker Tomlin, Willem de Kooning, Jackson Pollock, Richard Serra,Robert Rauschenberg, and Ellsworth Kelly.
