historical notes Ruth Braunstein opened her first gallery in 1961. Today, she exhibits all kinds of mediums from fiber art, furniture and glass to paintings, drawings and photographs in her large gallery space. Braunstein also began the ACCESS program in 1988, which opens her space to artists who have not previously exhibited in a gallery.
