Art collector Delia Elizabeth Holden, nèe Bulkley, assisted in founding the Cleveland School of Art (later known as the Cleveland Institute of Art).
Mrs. Holden gave her art collection and building funds for additions to the Cleveland Museum in 1914 (W. G. Constable, Art Collecting in the United States of America, 1964).
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1912, exhibit: “Early Italian Paintings from the Collection of Mrs. Liberty Emery Holden 10/14/1912- 12/23/1912.”
