Ruth Shack is president of the Dade-Community Foundation and an art collector. She and her husband, Richard Shack, collected Contemporary art together.
The Shack collection includes work by, among others, Larry Donovan, Robert Rauschenberg, Maria Brito, Lydia Rubio, Cesar Trasobares, José Bedia, Robert Rauschenberg, Roy Lichtenstein, Claes Oldenburg, and the South African artist William Kentridge.
