historical notes Ferdinand Möller opens the gallery Breslau, Germany, 1917, Berlin in 1918, Potsdam, in 1924, and reopens in Berlin in 1927.

Due to bombings in Berlin in 1943, Möller moves his family and gallery to Zermützel, Switzerland and in 1949 he moves to Cologne where he opens his gallery in 1951.

The gallery closes in 1956 after Ferdindand's death and The Ferdinand-Möller-Stiftung was established in 1995 by Angelika Fessler-Möller (1919-2002) and Wolfgang Wittrock (born in 1947) in memory of the art dealer Ferdinand Möller (1882-1956) and his merits in establishing and saving expressionist art.
