Henry Mortimer Johnston was a photographer and collector who died in Hackensack, NJ.
Johnston sold his paintings February 28, 1893, through Ortgies & Co. (Fifth Avenue Art Galleries), New York at Chickering Hall (New York Times, 31/1/1893).
