Patricia Faure was an art Dealer, photographer and fashion photographer.
Faure was a director of Nicholas Wilder Gallery (1972), formed a partnership with Betty Asher (1979) and opened the Asher/Faure Gallery.
After the death of Betty Asher in 1994 Faure opened her own gallery: the Patricia Faure Gallery, in Santa Monica, CA.
Faure sold work by, among others, Joel Shapiro, Richard Artschwager, Gwynn Murrill, John M. Miller, Joe Goode, Margaret Nielsen, Salomon Huerta, the Rev. Ethan Acres and Mark Bradford.
Faure was married twice: first to Philip Payton and then Jacques Faure. As a professional photographer she worked for: Francesco Scavullo, Elle, Jardin de Mode, Marie Claire, Vogue, and the New York Times.
