Walter Fielchenfeldt senior was a scholar of Cezanne and worked with Cassirer from ca. 1919-1926. Feilchenfeldt ran Paul Cassirer, Berlin until 1935 and Paul Cassirer, Amsterdam until 1939. After 1946 he established his own gallery in Zurich.
