Charles James Madison Eaton was a Baltimore art collector who served as a Trustee of the Peabody Institute from 1878–1893.
Eaton’s collection included 81 paintings, 62 water colors, drawings, portrait miniatures, porcelain, and bronzes sculptures by Chrisophe Frantin. A portion of the collection was left to the Peabody Institute.
