The bulk of Sender’s collection is minimal and conceptual artwork from the 1960s and artworks by emerging contemporary artists.

Artists represented in Sender’s collection include work by, among others, Kara Walker, Dan Flavin, John Currin, Cindy Sherman, Bill Viola, Andreas Gursky, Damien Hirst, Felix Gonzales-Torres, John Baldessari, Brian Jungen, Wangechi Mutu, William Kentridge, Thomas Demand, Richard Artschwager, Jenny Holzer, Robert Gober, Raymond Pettibon, Matthew Barney, Luc Tuyman, and Thomas Ruff.

Sender loans works of art from his collection and planned on creating a public exhibition space. However, he sold his collection through Sotheby's in 2014.
