Eric Schmidt is an American businessman and software engineer who was the CEO of Google, executive chairman of Google, and executive chairman of Alphabet Inc. Although he has professed that he is not an art collector, he owns several modern masters, including Cézanne, Picasso, and Rothko, and is interested in the work of contemporary artists such as Rudolf Stingel. He sits on the board of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, to which he donated $25 million in 2016. |
