Since 1979, Resnick has been the chairman and president of The Wonderful Company, which produces many popular food and beverage brands.

The Resnicks collect eighteenth- and nineteenth-century French art. Their collection includes work by, among others, Francois Boucher, Hubert Robert, Elisabeth Louise Vigée Brun, Jean-Marc Nattier, Jean-Antoine Houdon, Jean Barbault, Michel Garnier, Vincenzo Vela, and Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres. The collection features other European works by artists including Peter Paul Rubens, Francesco Guardi, and Henri Lehman.

They are on the board of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Philadelphia Museum of Art, the National Gallery, and the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (LACMA), where Lynda also chairs the acquisitions and exhibitions committee. Lynda is Vice Chairman of LACMA’s Board of Trustees, as well as the Chair of the Acquisitions Committee and the Executive Committee.
