Gilbert Kinney is an art collector and philanthropist.
Kinney has served on the American Federation of Arts Board in 1978, a Trustee of the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Archives of American Art, the International Council of the Museum of Modern Art, and the Yale University Art Gallery.
Kinney's collection includes work by. among others, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Clifford Still, Ad Reinhardt, Joan Mitchell, Franz Kline, April Gornik, Sam Francis, Eric Fischl and Bonard.
