Tom Slick was a Texas oil man, explorer, inventor, businessman, and philanthropist and collected of modern art.
Slick founded the Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research, the Southwest Research Institute, and the Mind Science Foundation.
Slick’s collection included paintings and sculptures by, among others, Pablo Picasso, Georgia O’Keeffe, Barbara Hepworth and Isamu Noguchi.
