Williams's collection includes paintings, sculptures, watercolors, and drawings from the early decades of the twentieth century. The collection includes work by, among others, Maurice B. Prendergast, Edward Hopper, Earl Horter, Emil Nolde, Preston Dickinson, Joseph Stella, Oscar Bluemner, Thomas Hart Benton, Elie Nadelman, John Storrs, Alberto Giacometti, Louise Nevelson, Charles Demuth, Georgia O'Keeffe, John Marin, Marsden Hartley, and Arthur Dove.
