Born in Turkey, Rosette Delug emigrated to Los Angeles in 1972, where she married the attorney and telecommunications executive Sam Delug. Following her divorce in 2001, Delug visited the New York Armory Show, which inspired her to become a collector and an active participant in the Los Angeles art world. She is known for her lavish parties, serves on the board of overseers for the Hammer Museum, and had been a MOCA trustee until 2008. The walls of her minimalist Trousdale home feature works by certified stars like Chris Ofili, John Baldessari, Matthew Barney, and Ed Ruscha and emerging talents like Scott Campbell, Tomory Dodge, and Mark Manders. |
