historical notes Arnon Milchan is an Israeli businessman, film producer, and a key Israeli intelligence operative and arms dealer from the mid-1960s to the mid-1980s. He has been involved in over 130 full-length motion pictures and is the founder of production company Regency Enterprises.

Although he does not advertise the fact, Milchan owns one of the largest collections of art in Hollywood, valued at $600 million and spread across his homes in L.A., Paris, and Tel Aviv. It includes works by Picasso, Van Gogh, Basquiat, Bacon, and Rodin, among others.
