Earl C. Adams, who practiced law in Los Angeles for more than 60 years, was the architect of the political campaigns of Richard M. Nixon, Thomas Kuchel, William Knowland and George Murphy. He was a well-known collector of Western Americana, including Charles M. Russell, J.N. Marchand, and Edwin Willard Deming. In 1973, The California Historical Society sponsored "The West Remembered," which exhibited the 1837-1973 Collection of Earl C. Adams, at the old San Francisco mint. |
