Barbara "Babe" Cushing Mortimer Paley was a New York fashion editor (Vogue) and the wife of William Samuel Paley (1901-1990).
William Paley was Babe's second husband who she married in 1947. Her first husband was oil heir Stanley Grafton Mortimer, Jr., they were married in 1940, and divorced in 1946.
